Killer Cold and other ramblings

Calico at the Brick Coffee House

Haven't done a blog entry for a while (obviously)! Life has a way of interfering with the best of intentions. Home today (and yesterday) with a killer cold. Considering buying stock in Kleenex Winking. The picture above is from a recent appearance at "The Brick" in Belvedere Illinois. Its a great little cafe/coffeehouse that features great (and healthy) food, great people, and great music. The walls are covered with wonderful original art of all sorts. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend it. Music is free (though tips are welcome) and usually around the noon hour on Saturdays. They also have music at other times so give 'em a call to get the most up to date info.

I am very excited about whats going on creatively. David is moving his studio gear back to his home (had been residing at his son-in-law's studio). This means we will be able to collaborate much more smoothly, trading music files back and forth since we will both be on the same platforms (Digital Performer and Logic - depending on what we are doing). Getting anxious to jump back into the process, as we have some new material we want to get down and out. New material is the reason for the music stand in the photo!
