Say what you mean - live what you say

"Road to the Heart" finished

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Even in these difficult times, there is much to be thankful for. We had a fantastic get-together with family. There was Turkey, stuffing (2 varieties), pies - you know the drill. Oh - and did I mention football??

One of the things I am truly thankful for is that our 2nd cd - "Road to the Heart", has finally been sent off to cd baby, Itunes etc. The jpeg above is of the "j-card" from the cd. A "j-card" is what you see on the back of the jewel case.

A bit of explaining is in order. Two years ago, we originally sold a few signed and numbered "pre-release" copies of this cd. But we were never really happy with it. This was the first album that we did entirely in our own basement studios. In the process we learned a lot, and by the time we finished, much had changed. We had new equipment, new software, and a lot of hard earned knowledge. To make a long story a little shorter, we decided to revisit it with all of the above in mind. We redid some of the vocals, re-recorded a song or two, substituted a newer song for one we weren't happy with, and remastered the whole thing. Friday, I went to the postoffice and shipped the finished product to CDBABY. They should get it early next week, and within a week it should be posted on their site, and Itunes as well. We are both very excited. "Winter Promises" ( on the "Music" page) is a short version of what's on the cd. David and I both hope you like or creation. I will post the link to the album as soon as its up. In the meantime, you can get a copy from us - signed - by clicking on the "contact me" button below.

Now we start on the next cd - tentatively titled "Hard Times".
